MGM's partnership with Hyatt, which has lasted for over a decade, will come to an end on 9/30. Elite tier matching will no longer be available. Previously, Hyatt status provided benefits such as waived resort fees at MGM properties.

However, for stays with a checkout date of 9/30 or earlier, you can still earn Hyatt points and benefits. Stays booked for travel after that date will be honored but won't earn Hyatt points and benefits. In October, MGM will partner with Marriott, allowing members to match elite status.

Marriott points can be earned and redeemed at 17 MGM hotels.
