Bilt has updated its services terms of use to include a policy where it may hard reject any individual rent payment over $20,000, unless approved by contacting Bilt. Additionally, customers cannot make more than one rent payment to one payee within a 30-day period without risking rejected payments and fees. Some concerns were raised about fees charged by landlords for blocked payments.
However, Bilt stated that it was founded to make rent rewarding for members by enabling them to earn rewards.
