United also no longer charges any award redeposit cancellation fees, so you can get your miles and taxes back if you cancel before departure. You can use United's legacy award search calendar to find available flights between the US and Tokyo Haneda (HND), Osaka (KIX), and Tokyo Narita (NRT).
