Beware of This Common Airline Scam: Viral Warning About Google for Airline Contact Information

In recent times, fraudulent travel agencies have been exploiting Google to manipulate search results and display fake ads when users try to find airline phone numbers. Multiple instances of this scam have been reported by members, leading admin and jewgler @bahayman to flag these ads and search results for Google's review and removal. A Twitter post by Shmuli Evers about his experience has now gone viral, raising awareness about this scam.

Evers encountered a suspicious phone call from a French number (+33-4-56-38-67-82) that appeared as DTI Publishing on caller ID, with the caller having a strong Indian accent, which raised red flags.
